Glass Class
Private Classes and semi private (2 work at a time, 4 persons max taking turns) classes available upon request. Location: Central Islip, Long Island, NY.

Rates:
Private Classes: 60 per hour
Semi Private: 100 per hour (split between attendees).
Accepted: Cash, Credit, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Zettle
All supplies and equipment are included. Work can be picked up the following day after annealing in the kiln. Please wear closed shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. The studio is heated and air conditioned, but with the ventilation fans running it can get cool or warm in extreme weather. No polyester, wear natural fibers like cotton and wool. Tie back your hair if long.
Classes begin with borosilicate glass. Projects usually include the choice of pendants, sun catchers, small sculpture such as fish or a sea turtle. Projects are chosen once you get a feel for the rotation of the glass in the flame. Please specify if you have a specific request a head of time.
Soft glass/bead glass classes available upon request, please specify on contact form.
Basic Fusing Glass classes available upon request. Please specify on contact form.
Studio Rental: Approved on a case by case basis. Includes use of equipment and clear glass only.
Non supervised rental: MUST be able to work all equipment, torches, regulators etc... 25 per hour.
Supervised Rental: No instruction! I will set up equipment for you and be available to make equipment adjustments. 35 per hour.
Kiln Rental:
Aim Clamshell kiln: 14 inch round diameter, $10 per firing.
Paragon 240: 17 inch square, $15 per firing
